Elsie’s House is a nonprofit organization supported by the generosity of our donors. While we are unable to accept physical item donations at this time due to limited storage space, financial contributions continue to help us serve families in our community. We are also always in need of diapers and wipes, which are distributed directly to families in need. Thank you for your continued support.
How We Got Our Name
Elsie Alexander has made it her life’s work to show people their inherent worth. Every human life has value and all of us have something to contribute to the world!
While Elsie lived in Lethbridge from 1972-2007, she was a warrior for the rights of women and children –always sacrificing her time for those in need. Numerous boards and committees benefited from her leadership skills, humility, and willingness to serve.
We are so honored to name this space after her.
